Where: Pearl Bar, 4216 Washington Ave, Houston, TX 77007 The night will be open to everyone, but the ladies will be the stars of the evening. The event will directly benefit the official Eden Party, another Pride Houston event. Take part in another of Pride Houston’s pop-up parties, this time dedicated to the ladies of Houston. This year marks the Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce’s Fifth Anniversary, so it’s an excellent opportunity to celebrate the organization’s founding members and the progress they have made. The keynote speaker will be Louis Vega, Dow’s North American president and vice president of Government Affairs and Advocacy. The Pride in Business Celebration event celebrates local LGBTQIA+ businesses and recognizes their impact on the local economy. The Pearland Youth Movement will be celebrating Pride month (the first in Pearland’s history) at the pavilion at Southdown Park. How Much: $10 virtually, $15 in person 3. The other two films are All Boys Aren’t Blue and I’m With Harrison. The headliner of the evening will be Ailey, a documentary about dancer Alvin Ailey that hasn’t been shown since it first debuted at Sundance.
